Our Royal Academy ballet exams were held live on the 29th November 2020. Whilst Midlands Dance Theatre Centre only had 3 dancers participate due to Covid, we travelled down to Hillcrest where the exams were held in 1 central venue, our examiner was Mrs Dawn De Wit. What a treat for the girls to experience the real thing in a year of so many changes, so a huge thank you to the Royal Academy of Dance for facilitating this. It was also our first time entering the Discovering Repertoire syllabus that was introduced to us in South Africa in February 2019. Carpe Diem girls and well done!
